Ohio minimum wage set to increase

Ohio minimum wage will increase January 1st, 2025, rising to $10.70 an hour for non-tipped employees and $5.35 per hour for tipped employees. The adjustment follows the state’s constitutional requirement for annual increases tied to inflation. Currently, the minimum wage for 2024 is $10.45 per hour for non-tipped employees and $5.25 for tipped workers. This annual increase is mandated by a constitutional amendment passed by Ohio voters in November 2006. for 14 and 15 year olds, the minimum wage will remain at the federal level of $7.25 per hour.
