Is anyone really that excited that the Dodgers and the Yankees are in the World Series??? Anyone that doesn’t live in New York or LA???? Maybe a few will want to see Shohei Otani or Aaron Judge play, but the majority of the country could care less. The Yankees and the Dodgers are 2 of the 5 highest spending teams in the big leagues. So many of us hate the disparity between the spending of the top teams and the bottom teams, that a series like this becomes of no interest to us. I don’t care what happens or who wins. I just wish the Guardians had the money to spend that these two teams do. It’s a miracle that Cleveland could even compete with teams like this. I’m sure the ratings will be decent because it’s two teams from big markets, but my interest level for 2 teams like these is close to zero. I’ll wait to watch baseball until the Guardians come back in the spring.
