What is Ohio State going to do about Ryan Day??? 4 straight losses to Michigan, including the embarrassing loss this season at home to a mediocre Michigan squad, where the Buckeyes only scored 10 points and no points in the second half. The fanbase has just about had enough of him. He can win every game unless it’s a big game and he tends to fall flat on his face. His job is safe for now, because Ohio State will still make the 12 team college playoff. But how safe??? We will soon find out. It may be National Championship or bust for Day. If they don’t win it all, we may have a new head coach next season. I would say it’s highly likely that if they lose in the first round, he will be gone. Too much talent, too much expectation for them to have these same issues every year. A 5 year old could have called better plays against Michigan. You have 3 NFL caliber wide receivers and you continue to run the ball over and over and fail over and over against a Wolverine defensive line that has at least 3, maybe 4 players who will be drafted in the 1st round of the NFL Draft next year. The clock is ticking on Day in Columbus, will he turn it around in the playoffs or be out of Columbus in the next few weeks. We will soon find out.
