How are we doing Guardians fans?  Traded away Gold Glove 2nd baseman Andres Gimenez and probably Josh Naylor is the next to go.  Yes they signed Shane Bieber, but it’s only for a year and he may not even be ready to pitch until the summer.  It’s just the reality you face when dealing with the owners of the team.  They got all the way to the ALCS this year and as fans you would hope they would make moves to try and take the next step to the World Series, but the Dolans have never been those owners.  Instead you just sit around as fans and shake your head as they trade away player after player.  It’s pretty disappointing.  I love trade rumors, and if it’s the NBA or the NFL I always pay attention to them, because there is always a chance the Cavs or Browns are involved.  I never pay attention to baseball rumors though, because the Guardians are never involved and if they are it’s them trading pieces away not actually getting anyone to help.   Year after year Cleveland baseball fans have to deal with this.  Hoping one year we won’t have to.  Maybe if the Dolans ever sell, when can get some owners who go all in, instead of ones always looking to cut costs.  Maybe one day that will happen, until then we will just have to suffer through these off-seasons that never bring the fans any hope.
