Well the Browns sure do know how to keep you entertained during a draft don’t they?? For the most part I think the Browns for once actually did a really good job with this year’s draft. Trading out of the #2 pick back to #5 and getting another first round pick next year from the Jaguars was incredible. They pretty much fleeced the Jags on that deal. They went defensive tackle in round 1, followed by linebacker, running back, tight end, and then quarterback. But that QB was no one we expected, it was Dillion Gabriel out of Oregon, who was good in college but may be too short for the NFL. They then went running back again followed by trading up and pulling the stunner of the draft by picking Colorado QB Shadeur Sanders in the 5th round. He was expected to go in the first round but dropped all the way to 5th. The draft as a whole for the Browns was good, except that could have used the pick they used to take Gabriel on a WR or an offensive lineman. But getting Sanders in the 5th is a steal. If he turns out good they look like geniuses, if he turns out bad, he is a 5th round pick and can easily be sent on his way out of town. Oh and by the way, they can draft another QB early next year, with their 2 first round picks. I can’t wait to see how this all plays out. The Browns never make a draft boring. They proved that once again this year.
