Ohio Lt. Governor Jim Tressel has confirmed that he is considering a run for governor. The former Ohio State head football coach had earlier said he wasn’t interested, but now says his thinking has changed in part because many people are asking him to run. Tressel did not give a timeline for his decision. Tressel, of Medina, was the Buckeyes head football coach from 2001 to 2010, leading the team to a national championship. He later served as Youngstown State University President from 2014 to 2023.
