Akron police are investigating after a fatal stabbing that occurred on Saturday night in the 1600 block of Cromwell Drive, in a residential area near Sand Run Metro Park. It happened around 8pm. Police say, the victim, whose name has not been disclosed, was transported to a local hospital. He was pronounced dead a short time later. The suspect, who is known to the victim, fled the scene.
