As we get closer and closer to the halfway point of the Major League Baseball season, it seems to be time to face facts that the Guardians will be no more than a mediocre team this season. this team does not have the look of a team on its way back to the ALCS. They have the look of a team that might sneak into the playoffs as a Wild Card and then go out in their first playoff series. It’s a shame that the owners waste the talent of Jose Ramirez by doing the same thing they always do, which is make no moves in the offseason but bargain basement ones. This lineup looks like it could use 2 or 3 more hitters, the pitchers keep getting hurt and the depth is not there. This is what happens when all the other teams in your division make moves, while the owners once again sit on their hands because they don’t want to spend money. we can all see it. Even if you can’t you will soon enough when this team is no more than they already have shown so far. An average team, in a much more competitive division this season.
