A faculty member at Archbishop Hoban High School in Akron is facing charges after being accused of assaulting a former student. Chad Kendall, who works in the school’s fine arts department, faces a first degree misdemeanor charge related to an alleged incident that happened on campus in March 2024 during a play rehearsal after 7pm. The school has placed Kendall on administrative leave and banned him from campus during the on-going legal process.
