There is a new scam making the rounds. the Ohio BMV is warning if you receive a text saying you owe traffic fines……it’s fake. They say the text claims to be from the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles and demands immediate payment threatening legal consequences if not paid. The BMV says it’s a scam and it’s targeting drivers everywhere. They say the Ohio BMV would never send a text message demanding a form of payment.
