Akron police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a vehicle used in a fatal hit-skip. according to a press release, police responded to a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle in the area of West South street and the Ohio & Erie Canal way Path Crosswalk at Lake Shore Boulevard. When police arrived, they found the injured 43 year old woman, who was pronounced dead at the scene. the suspects vehicle is believed to be a silver Chevrolet Malibu, with front end damage to the headlights, hood, and windshield. The vehicle was last seen traveling eastbound on west South Street.
