5 people, ranging in age from 14 to 20 were shot on Monday morning in the parking lot of Mason CLC on East Exchange Street, during a large gathering. Akron police say, the 5 were all transported to the hospital with what are being reported as non-life threatening injuries. In addition to the gunfire, more than a dozen others were injured by vehicles fleeing the scene. Over 100 sheel casings were found in that area. The shooting occurred just after 3am.
