A woman has died in an Akron house fire. This happened just after 5pm yesterday at a home in the 400 block of Grace Avenue in West Akron. Fire crews say they found the woman unresponsive in the basement. she was taken to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead. Two other people managed to escape the flames and were not injured.
