A 21 year old Akron man has received a life sentence for a murder that occurred last year. Thomas Ellis was found guilty of murdering 33 year old Dominic Gray back in September of 2023 by shooting him 4 times at an apartment on Beardsley Street. Ellis was found guilty of 2 counts of murder and felonious assault. He will be eligible for parole after serving 21 years in prison.
