An investigation is underway after an Uber driver shot a passenger when an altercation broke out inside the ride share. Police say they were called out just past midnight Friday to Pontius Road. On scene, police learned the driver, a 35 year old man from Akron, had shot his passenger, a 68 year old Mogadore man. No word on a motive. According to police, the passenger was shot once and treated for non-life threatening injuries at the hospital. No charges have been filed at this time. The case has been sent to the prosecutor’s office for review.
