On Friday, around 5:30 in the evening, officers responded to the 900 block of East Tallmadge Avenue for a single car accident. On scene, officers determined that a Chevy Malibu had lost control and hit a utility pole. The driver, a 36 year old man and sole occupant of the vehicle, was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
