The search continues for a man accused of shooting 2 police officers in Central Ohio. Police are searching for 21 year old Daveonte Dixon. Police say Dixon was a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over Wednesday night around 645pm in Mifflin Township. during the traffic stop, investigators say Dixon tried to run away. Officers chased him, and that’s when they say he allegedly shot 2 police officers. Both officers were transported to the hospital; one in critical condition and one in stable condition. The driver of the vehicle in the traffic stop cooperated with police and is not considered a suspect.
