The Stark County Sheriff’s Office says a 68 year old man has died after his riding mower flipped into a creek. According to a press release, the victim was riding his mower along a creek in Washington Township, near Beech Street, when the ground gave way and the mower flipped into the water, trapping him underneath. The victim has been identified as 68 year old Leo Meidlinger. No other information has been released at this time.
