Gas prices have surged in Northeast Ohio within the last week. Drivers in Akron are now paying an average of $3,03 per gallon after prices went up about 25 cents a gallon from last week. According to GasBuddy.com. prices in Cleveland went up about 18 cents a gallon to $3.04.
